This was part of a 17 day independent tour of northern Spain by train. It was in a February, the weather was rain, that is why the pictures do not show many people. First ,the stay was in A,Coruna on the Atlantic coast. I
did not have much time here , but managed to see the main square, and the
tower of Hercules. I stayed at Hotel Palas just a 3 minute walk from the rail station.--A.Coruna
is a busy port ...A famous person ,Pablo Picasso, live in ACoruna for 4 years in
the 1890s. Trains go to Vigo, Santiago de Compostela, Pontevedra, Madrid and
Lugo....I moved on to Lugo.-------------I can't remember the name of the hotel. Lugo is
completely surrounded by a intact Roman Wall, which took 45 years to build. A full
circle of the wall is 2.117m [ 6946 ft ] It is now a World Heritage Site. The Cathedral
of St.Mary is from 1129 AD. ----
